Access Doors

Access Doors are designed to provide convenient access to duct systems for maintenance, inspection, and resetting of fire dampers, smoke dampers, volume control dampers, motorized dampers, filters, and other internal components.

 

Service openings in air ducts are positioned adjacent to each damper in compliance with NFPA 90A recommendations, ensuring safe and practical access.

 

When specified with a piano hinge, the door is securely fixed to the frame by spot welding (Type RADH).

DVAC manufactures two types of Access Doors:

    • – RAD

    • – RADH

All DVAC Access Doors are constructed in accordance with SMACNA standards, ensuring durability, reliability, and proper system access.
